Cherri (Bolin) Topp

JANUARY 6, 1956 ~ OCTOBER 25, 2019 (AGE 63)

Cherri Rose (Bolin) Topp was born to James and Flossie (Fraker) Bolin on January 6, 1956, in Buffalo, Wyoming. She moved with her family and grew up in Forks, Washington where she graduated from high school.

Cherri met Ron Topp in California while he was in the Marine Corp and they were married September 16, 1976. They had three sons, Jake, Jesse and Andy. They made their home near Tecumseh where they raised their family. Cherri worked for Campbell’s Soup Company in Tecumseh for about 12 years and later went back to Southeast Community College to earn her Licensed Practical Nursing degree. Her nursing career began at Belle Terrace and then after a number of years, Cherri worked for the Good Samaritan Center in Auburn until her health forced her to retire.

In her spare time, Cherri loved reading, plants, flowers, her kids and grandchildren and the color purple. She had a good heart, was a kind and loved mother and enjoyed taking care of others through her nursing career. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Cherri passed away October 25, 2019, at Bryan East Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 63 years.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Topp of Tecumseh, sons, Jake Topp and wife Michelle and Andy Topp and wife Devin of Tecumseh, grandchildren, Madison Adams and Jessa Adams and Logan Topp and Tegan Topp, father, James “Jim” Bolin of Tecumseh, sister, Lori Bolin and husband Skip of Forks, WA, brother, Gale “Bubba” Bolin and Alethea of Forks, WA, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Cherri was preceded in death by her mother, Flossie Bolin, son Jesse Topp, and brother Jimmy Bolin.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 2, 2019, at the First Baptist Church in Tecumseh, Nebraska with Rev. Hugh Giesbrecht officiating. The family requests casual dress.

A register book will be available at the Wherry Mortuary, Tecumseh, Nebraska.
