Jose Aldana

Born July 13, 1928, and passed away on June 29, 2021, in Forks, Washington. Joe rejoins Connie, his beloved wife of almost 60 years, who passed in 2012.

Joe was born in San Bernardino, California and moved to Milwaukee as a young man. There he met Connie, they married and settled, raised, and are survived by five children: John (Glenda), Carmen, Mary (Thomas), Michael (Renae) and Michelle (Nicolas).

Joe and Connie are also survived by 14 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Joe was preceded in death by his dad Jesus Aldana and his mom Maria de Los Angeles, his brothers Leandro and Jesús, and is survived by his brothers José, Enrique, Humberto, Luis and his sister Esther. He is further survived by many other relatives and friends.

After retirement, Joe immersed himself in his interests: sports (particularly tennis), gardening, classical music, his deep Catholic faith and most important of all, his family. In retirement, Joe and Connie eventually moved to Forks, Washington, where John and Glenda lived.

John and Glenda were devoted to and cared for them in their final years. The family cannot begin to express our gratitude and thanks for everything they did for our parents. Joe lived a long, happy and productive life and we know he is overjoyed, at last, to be reunited with Connie.

We will miss Joe’s smile, wisdom, and quick wit, but most of all, the warm and loving embrace he made sure we felt.

Funeral services were held at 12 noon on Wednesday, July 7th, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 511 5th Avenue, Forks, WA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joe’s memory to St. Anne’s Catholic Church, P.O. Box 2359, Forks, WA 98331, or Kids Chance of Wisconsin, P.O. Box 1546, Brookfield, WI 53008.
