Theresa Parker

It is with great sadness that the family of Theresa Parker announces her passing. On January 28, 2019, she joined her husband just 20 months after his passing.

Born in Forks Washington on April 26, 1958, Theresa was raised and lived in Forks all her childhood and adult life until she lost her husband Rodney Steele Parker. They had been married for 41 years.

Together they had 2 daughters Shannon Kathleen (Parker) Beaubier and Kristin Ann (Parker) Corner. Both of whom are so thankful to have been raised in such a loving home where they were also expected to make something of themselves and encouraged to be successful in life.

Theresa is survived by her Mother and Stepfather Kathleen (Riley) Green and Eldon Green. Her two daughters and their husbands David and Shannon (Parker) Beaubier and Jason and Kristin (Parker) Corner. She is also survived by her 3 beautiful and amazing granddaughters Addisen (Addi) Riyann Beaubier, 11 and Makena Ann, 6 and Kylin Alana Corner, 4. Theresa also has a bonus granddaughter London Davis, 4 whom she loved as well. She is also survived by her Brother and Sister in Law Jim and Laura Decker and their 3 children Brianne, Brittney, and Braden.

She was preceded in death by brother Ryan Decker and her Father James Decker.

Theresa had a passion for people. Her life was dedicated to helping high-risk children succeed and complete school, and advocating for her clients as a case manager at West End Outreach. Theresa enjoyed both of these rewarding and challenging careers and the people with whom she came into contact with very much. She was sought out by many for advice and guidance, as she was a knowledgable, loving, and non-judgemental person. You could always count on Theresa to be direct and honest in her quest to help her clients, friends, and family. As her daughters, we pray and take comfort in knowing her and our dad are together again. While Theresa is going to be greatly missed by everyone who knew her, her legacy lives on through family and all those that she helped along her journey.

A graveside service for family will be held at noon on Saturday, April 13, 2019. Following that there will be a Celebration of Life at Jim (Laura) Decker’s property; 77 Lake Pleasant Park Road from 2:00-5:30 p.m., Potluck Style. The family hopes that everyone who knew and loved Theresa will bring their favorite dish, and come ready with stories to share to celebrate the life of an amazing woman who was taken from us all too soon.
