Twila Weed

Twila Weed – Feb. 25, 2014

Twila passed away peacefully at her Port Ludlow home surrounded by her family on February 25, 2014.

Twila was born in Bremerton, Washington, to Leroy Edward and Gene Marie (Kilmer) Worsey.

She attended Chimacum School. She married Robert Roufley, and they later divorced.

She then moved to Forks, where she married Ron Weed. Twila always worked hard, and while in Forks, she worked as a bartender at the Elks Lodge, packed shingles and drove a front-end loader.

She divorced Ron in 1985 and married Roger Weed.

Twila moved back to the Port Townsend area and was employed at Safeway in the produce department for many years. Twila loved cooking, and you could always find fresh-baked cookies in her kitchen.

She also loved bingo, trips to the casino and spending time with her family.

Twila is survived by her husband, Roger of Port Ludlow; children Teres (Fred) Fletcher of Port Angeles, Tena (Shannon) Leavitt of Ferndale, Washington, and Shane (Diane) Weed of Sumas, Washington; grandchildren Austin and Zachary Fletcher, Jacob and Nicholas Leavitt, and Tyler and Brandon Weed; brother Glen Worsey of Forks; and sister Barbara Shaw of Port Hadlock.
