(1951-2025)

Virjeanne (James) Tucker, 73, of Port Angeles, WA, died on Aug. 15 after a brief battle with cancer.

She was born in Forks, WA, in 1951 to Bill and Jeanne James. She married the love of her life, Dan, in 1972, and they shared 53 years of loving and laughing together while raising their girls, seeing the world, and camping with family and friends.

Virjeanne was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Jeanne and is survived by her husband, Dan, daughters Kristal (Carl) and Heather (James), grandkids Nate (Kim), Nick, Elli and Cate, sisters Karyn (Charlie) and Ellyn (Rex) and brother Bill (Carmen). Plus, many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service is being held on Sept. 27, 2025, at 2:00 at the Sequim Elks Lodge. In lieu of flowers, please donate to The Sequim Guild for Seattle Children’s Hospital in her honor.
