Vivian Morris

1947 – 2022

Vivian Morris passed away peacefully on March 5, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Vivian was born to John and Beverly Beckwith on January 19, 1947, in Port Angeles, WA. She spent her life in Forks, WA, and graduated from Forks High School in 1965. She later married Charles Morris on July 30, 1965, and they had three children, Chad, Carla, and Corey.

At the beginning of her career, Vivian worked various banking jobs in Forks. She then went on to work at Forks City Hall for 28 years, the job she would eventually retire from.

One of Vivian’s favorite things in life was to travel. Her favorite place was Las Vegas, where she loved to see shows, go shopping, and of course gamble, especially on the penny slots. Anyone who knew Vivian also knew that she loved Elvis, and she was able to fulfill one of her lifelong dreams by visiting Graceland in Memphis. She also loved taking beach vacations with her family to the Oregon Coast and Hawaii.

Vivian loved to be surrounded by her family. She hosted every holiday, birthday, and summer barbecue, and you were lucky if she let you help her in the kitchen. Most evenings ended with dessert and a game of cards at the table. It didn’t usually matter to her what she was doing, as long as her family was with her.

Vivian was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; father, John; mother, Beverly; sister Geraldine Diimmel; and brothers-in-law Dave Wasankari and Larry Diimmel.

She is survived by her children, Chad (Lorie), Carla (John), and Corey (Tiffany); grandkids Taylor (Chris), Collin, and Caitlyn; companions Jax and Marley; sister Sue Wasankari; and brother-in-law Jerry (Helen); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Throughout her life, Vivian was fiercely protective of her family, and she always put us first. We will miss her stories, her wit, and the way she would do anything for us.

At her own request, there will be no services.
