Experience at B&P

Dear Editor,
I had to share this story as it was such a breath of fresh air in this crazy world …
I was on a cross-country road trip in August with a friend. My Roadtrek van had some difficulty starting. We were staying out at the Quileute RV Park and I asked a guy that worked there if he knew of anyone that could help me out.
He recommended B & P Auto Repair.
Long story short, Craig Petrovich (owner) ordered a new starter for me and installed it. When I came to pick up my van, my refrigerator would not work. It was working when I left it there. The guys tried to figure out what had happened but were unable to fix it. Even though these are very small refrigerators, they are NOT cheap.
I was so nervous because I already had the cost of the starter and now I would have to get this taken care of. We (Craig and I) had an agreement that I would try to get parts to get it fixed and let him know and he would pay for the repairs. We shook hands and I left. After many phone calls for parts, which could not be found, I finally found a place in Portland, Ore., that ordered and replaced my refrigerator. Craig was true to his word and when they called him he paid for the NEW refrigerator as they could not repair it.
Not many people do the right thing these days … I’m sure he knew I was traveling back east and he would never see me again.
Anyway, I was so relieved and thankful … he kept his word and did the right thing. All I can do is share this story and let you know what a good and decent man you have right there in your town.
If you live there and see him, please thank him once again for me.
Thanks again Craig,
Laura Rupp
