Tidepool exploration with NOLS
Published 1:30 am Wednesday, July 6, 2022
As part of the Summer Reading Program, the North Olympic Library System (NOLS) is partnering with Feiro Marine Life Center to provide a morning of tidepool exploration. People of all ages are invited to learn about sea stars, anemones, and other treasures of the Salish Sea with educators from Feiro. The event begins at 8am on Friday, July 15, at Slip Point Lighthouse in Clallam Bay.
Participants are to meet at the lighthouse at the end of Frontier Street and should wear sturdy, nonslip shoes. Youth age 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Feiro Marine Life Center is located on the Port Angeles City Pier and provides local marine and watershed learning experiences.
About the Summer Reading Program
