Port Angeles Soroptimist Jet Set, Forks Soroptimist of the Olympic Rainforest, and Port Angeles Soroptimist Noon Club donated $5,000 to help misplaced Ukrainian children through the Washington State Ukrainian Assoc.

Approximately $5,000 is being facilitated through Olga Pierce, Treasurer of the State Ukrainian Association to schools and orphanages to help children.

Queen of Angels school students gifted $500 to the Kolzekwo School District in Kolzekwo, Poland. Students who fled Ukraine to safety in Poland are being helped with funds in Kolzekwo from all three Soroptimist Clubs. Funds sent to the school are helping to buy hot lunches and school supplies for Ukrainian Refugee children attending this school. This money sent is very personal as the clubs get pictures back from the Ukrainian Crisis Areas and the Kolzekwo School System. Queen of Angels will establish a pen pal program between the students of the two schools.
