In another 4 to 6-year-old contest the Green Eagles went head to head or shall we say toe to chin as is pictured here with the Blue Lightning.
It was the Blue and the Gray, no this wasn’t the civil war, the blue team was known as the PSG’s and the Gray were the Wolves. Pictured here the 10 to 14-year-olds went toe to toe as you can see.
Pictured here in the 7 to 9 age bracket the Tigers in orange and the Yellow Bananas in yellow, and that makes sense, hustle for ball control. Perhaps these future Spartans are getting a good jump on what could come a few years down the road as they just might compete in the 2B Pacific Soccer League. As for now, however, they enjoy competing against classmates in a friendly atmosphere. And yes, thanks to the many volunteers, these kids are getting a real kick out of soccer.

Oh and what an evening it was as the West End Youth League showcased their skills at soccer. Under sunny skies and blessed by a light breeze, a portion of the local teams with players aged from 4 to 14 took to the several soccer fields at the Forks High School practice fields.

Two hundred and thirty-eight boys and girls signed up for this season. Many goals were scored in front of those faithful fans and coaches who gathered there. Some kicked nothing but air, others kicked chins, and some kicked goals but summing it up they all got a kick out of soccer.
