Times: 6 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Cost: $6,995 (Funding opportunities available)
This intensive 160-hour course will assist students with preparation for the written portion and the driving test for their Commercial Driver’s License A at the Department of Licensing.
Tuition for the course includes the cost of a driver’s permit, written test, as well as fees for the Washington state CDL road skills test and license.
There are many funding opportunities available depending on eligibility including:
• WorkSource Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funding through Employment Security Department (ESD). For more information, contact OlympicWIOA@esd.wa.gov or (360) 516-1001 Option 9-1.
• Peninsula College CDL Grant Fund, first-come first-served, limited funds available. More information will be sent to students after signing up for the class section.
• Veterans: If you were active-duty military after 9/11/2001, you may qualify with Post 9/11 GI Bill® (Chapter 33) and Veteran Readiness and Employment (Chapter 31).
• Basic Food, Employment & Training (BFET) depending on DSHS eligibility. Learn more at pencol.edu/bfet.
