Dave Montgomery hired as the Public Address Announcer for UW men’s basketball

Former Forks teacher and broadcaster Dave Montgomery, now a teacher in the Tenino school district, has been hired as the Public Address Announcer at Hec Ed Pavilion for University of Washington men’s basketball.

Dave for several years was the color commentator for Oly Archibald broadcasting Forks and Neah Bay High School games for Forks radio.

In the last 60 years, Dave will be just the third person who will have the prestigious job of announcing Washington Huskies men’s basketball. For the past several years Dave has done the Public Adress announcing for the Tenino Beaver home sporting events.
