On Thursday, Oct. 5 Eram’e Tost (L) and Kendall Marshall (R) met with Forks Forum editor, Christi Baron, in the school library. They had contacted the newspaper with the goal of reviving the school newspaper and also offering their writing services to submit articles to the Forks Forum. Student newspapers have been a staple in high schools across the country for decades; except for Forks High School. Here, you will find ordinary and familiar subjects; math, science, and English.

But what about the students who want to explore more than those subjects?

Last year, Eram’e Tost and Kendall Marshall proposed the idea to create a journalism class that can inspire people like myself, an aspiring journalist, to explore their dreams and delve into the world of writing. It’s evident there’s been a large absence of journalism and a school newspaper, we’re here to change that. With a team of two, our goal is to bring back a Forks High newspaper and keep it running for many years to come.
