Garden Club Project at Forks Transit Center

Last week Richard Halverson assisted the Bogachiel Garden Club (BGC) with a project at the Forks Transit Center. The little excavator made quick work of an overgrown flowerbed that will be replaced with a raised brick bed. BGC president Janet Hughes is in charge of the project. Photos Christi Baron

Assisting Richard was Pastor Warren Johnson who did some shovel work around the Smoke Bush that was planted in memory of Marine Pfc. Jason Hanson. Jason died July 29, 2006, Serving During Operation Iraqi Freedom. The Smoke Bush will remain as well as another tree at the other end of the raised bed.
