Donate craft supplies then join swap events at Forks and Clallam Bay Libraries

The North Olympic Library System (NOLS) invites community members to participate in free Craft Supply Swaps at the Forks and Clallam Bay Libraries. These events offer a chance to donate your unused supplies, then return to discover second-hand materials for your next creative project. Participants do not need to donate items to take materials from the swap.

Donations of new or gently-used items will be accepted Monday through Friday ahead of each swap. Donations will not be accepted on swap days.

Schedule

Forks Branch Library

Donations accepted: March 3–7 during open hours

Swap: Saturday, March 8, 10:30 a.m.–3 p.m.

Clallam Bay Branch Library

Donations accepted: April 7–11 during open hours

Swap: Wednesday, April 16, 5:30–7 p.m.

Those with large donations are asked to schedule an appointment in advance. Accepted donations include art supplies such as paints, brushes, and markers; fiber materials like yarn, fabric, and sewing notions; crafting tools; and art instruction books.

Items that are excessively heavy or in need of repair, and hazardous materials will not be accepted.
