Dear community,
Clallam County Fire District #1 is open now to new recruits for the 2025-2026 season, from wildland fires, to vehicle extrication and even aid tone outs; we do it all and we will have a niche for you. If you feel the call to serve your community, a need for a second family, or a sense of calm when the worst strikes, we want you. At Clallam 1 you’ll find a sense of purpose and a sense of community that you’ve never had before.
All stations are actively looking for firefighters, no background is needed, we’ll show you the ropes (literally). Anyone 16 or older can apply below. * 16-17 year olds will be a part of our cadet program, a training program that allows high schoolers to learn from our firefighter training and be fully trained for interior attack once they turn 18.
Forks Fire Station is also looking for EMT/Firefighter recruits, if you have an active EMT license we want you to help serve our community in our Fire/Rescue units as a Fire EMT.
All stations are also in need of Engineers- not looking to get inside of a burning building but still want to help out? Or maybe you have driven large vehicles back in the day, we’d love to train you on how to become one of our Fire Engineers!
With a fast-paced environment and hands-on learning experiences, we’ll train you to NFPA firefighting standards with training held every Tuesday.
Please contact Chief Bill Paul or email us at: emsccfd1@gmail.com
See you soon,
-CCFD#1
