Huling offering professional nail care

Forks residents will have a new option for professional nail care as Amanda Huling opened Nail’d It Gel & Acrylic on Wednesday, July 8.
Located at 180 S. Forks Ave. in the Almar Building across from the Forks Library, the new salon offers manicure and pedicure services for men, women, and children.
Huling recently graduated from Allure Academy of Cosmetology, successfully passed her Washington state licensing boards and is now bringing her skills to the Forks community.
A licensed manicurist, Huling specializes in a variety of nail enhancement techniques, including hard gel, polygel, fiber gel and acrylic applications. All of the salon’s polish services are completed using gel polish.
In addition to offering a full range of nail services, Huling has earned her Barbicide Certification, demonstrating her commitment to proper sanitation practices and client safety.
“I take client safety very seriously,” Huling said, noting that proper cleaning and sanitizing of implements is a top priority in her salon.
