It was sort of fitting that on the 25th anniversary of the “Mothers and Others (MORE)” playground equipment efforts that Tillicum Park recently received two new pieces of playground equipment. Soroptimist International of the Olympic Rain Forest donated $1,482.12 to purchase a new frog spring rider toy for Tillicum Park replacing one of the toys originally installed by MORE.

The City of Forks then purchased a second spring rider toy, a blue whale, and installed them both the week of July 11th. One other piece of “spring” equipment from 25 years ago still remains.
