American Legion Raffle and Breakfast — Veterans Day Activities Also Planned

American Legion Post 106 in Forks is once again bringing the community together and honoring veterans with a breakfast and something new this year … a $$$$ raffle drawing. Local Veterans Day events to honor those who have served are also being planned.

The American Legion Breakfast will be held Saturday, Nov. 8, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Post 106, 651 E. Division St. The raffle drawing will be held at 9 a.m.

Breakfast will include pancakes, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, coffee, and orange juice. A $10 donation is suggested, and everyone is welcome. Dine-in or take-out options will be available.

In addition to the breakfast, Veterans Day observances are planned in Forks.

The American Legion’s Veterans Day Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. at the Forks Transit Center. Everyone is welcome.

Forks schools will also host a Veterans Day program on Monday, Nov. 10, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Forks High School gym. All veterans are invited to attend and take part in honoring local heroes.
