The Albert Haller Foundation started as a nonprofit organization in 1992 to help fund charitable programs throughout the county, primarily focused on education, family and medical services. It annually gives six-figure donations to community groups and efforts.
Funding primarily goes to projects that provide food, housing, clothing, medical care and other programs that may enhance and enrich the lives of the poor and needy of Clallam County. Special attention is given to distributing food to those in need, and clothing and other necessities to children who lack the essentials to progress in school.
