Mindy Murphy
Mindy is the true definition of “Joy Spreader”! I have never had the pleasure of knowing, in my teaching journey, a student quite like Mindy and don’t ever want to be without that joy in life. Mindy teaches me to embrace my true self and cheer for all the little things in life….she is true joy.

Ricardo Garcia-Aparicio
Ricky exemplifies this month’s title of Joy Spreader in the Student of Character program and has received my nomination because of his relentlessly positive attitude, unyielding smile, and relentless good humor. He is the kind of person that makes a place better just by being in it. His positive attitude seems to know no bounds; he faces adversity with a nonchalance and a shrug that belies his youth, meets challenges with natural deference and persistence, and laughs with infectious gusto whenever faced with the ludicrous or asinine. He spreads joy and good will into every corner of every room he walks into.
Dr. Cavill
Kylee Leppell
I have nominated Kylee as a Joy Spreader for the Student of Character program because her gentle temperament and sweet demeanor positively affect every person she interacts with. Kylee is the type of person whose genuine kindness and empathetic ear cause her to be impervious to the general mayhem and vitriol of her peers. She rises above gossip, negativity, and disparaging verbiage by creating a barrier of goodwill and tenderness around herself that disarms and puts to ease anyone who engages with her. She truly is a shining star in the panorama of the student body here at FHS.
Dr. Cavill
