Skye Hestand and Ismael Ramos go over items to be auctioned. Skye leaves us no doubt that she is a senior of the class of 2026 by her clothing.

The generosity of the community is always amazing to see …you name it …it probably came up for bid. Here themed baskets and other items line the tables.

Rod Fleck auctions off an item on Saturday. Is it possible Rod has been at this for almost 30 years??
It was all the comforts of home for Don Grafstrom (left) and Ron Woody as they awaited the bidding war here at the commons. It was great to see many former Forks residents like Ron coming back to support the auction. Photo Lonnie Archibald

As of Monday, the Quillayute Valley Scholarship Auction has raised $175,550, with additional cash donations expected to come in over the next week. More than 900 items were auctioned over the weekend, generating $151,000 alone. Each year, the event’s success is driven by the hard work of the current Forks High School senior class, along with the many volunteers, donors and community members who lend their support, including those who contributed to the senior parents’ concessions.
