This is not your normal “say cheese” team photo, you understand. Personalities vary, as is seen here with this Marinier T- Ball team, which includes 5 and 6-year-old ball players.

Red Sox third baseman Addisyn Moody was ready for any ball hit her way along the third base line.
Mariner Leil Trainor, in pink with a pink helmet, pink bat, and pink shoes, came through with this base hit during T-Ball play.
The Red Sox team, although short-handed, were ready to battle the dreaded Mariners. Colorful shoes were worn and bright colored mitts were used, perhaps to distract the Mariners.
Mariner Andro Salizar wasn’t sure whether or not to use the sunglasses. They probably worked well when going for a fly ball, but then maybe they seemed a little dark for keeping an eye on ground balls.

Pictured here is the Red Sox team, along with Red Sox and Mariner fans and coaches, who spent a fun evening at the old ball game. The action takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning at 5:30 p.m., here in Forks. Here on Duncan Fields. Story and photos page 3.

A large crowd turned out to take in the T-ball games on June 2 here in Forks, where 5 and 6-year-olds showcased their skills in something that resembled baseball. Oh, I guess there weren’t many double plays made. In fact, there were none, but these youngsters gave their all as coaches and parents alike guided these future Spartans in what was, for many, their first ball game ever.

All players had their chances batting as each team would bat around before going to the field, where they attempted to play some high-quality defense. One base runner, after rounding third, went straight to the bench. Why bother touching home plate when the run didn’t really matter anyway, as scores are not kept in this T-Ball league composed of 6 teams that play here in Forks. Here at Duncan Fields.
