Mora Road Closure for Storm Damage Repair

The public is advised that Mora Road will be closed to all vehicle, pedestrian, and bicycle traffic beginning Wednesday, July 8, 2026, in preparation for storm-damage repair operations.

Construction activities are scheduled to begin Wednesday, July 15, 2026. The project will repair storm-related damage to Mora Road to restore safe and reliable access.

There will be no public access to Rialto Beach during the road closure. Visitors planning to access Rialto Beach should make alternate recreation plans until the road reopens on October 15, 2026. Mora campground will remain open during construction.

The closure is necessary to provide a safe work area for construction crews and to protect the traveling public. Motorists and visitors are asked to obey all posted signs and traffic control devices.

We appreciate the public’s patience and cooperation while these essential repairs are completed.
