The Pacific Coast Salmon Coalition is hosting a Fish N Brew again:

Last year was a great success with rave reviews from the community and vendors alike. The event this year will again feature a competition of home-made fish dishes and homebrews of every kind from beer and wine to tea and seltzers. And a silent auction fundraiser will raise funds for PCSC.
We will also be hosting a Vendor Fair – we hope to showcase locally crafted items from the Olympic Peninsula. We intend this to be a fun community event for the whole family!
If you are interested in selling art, crafts or other items as part of our vendor fair
Table Fee or Donation.
We are requiring a $40 table fee, which we will happily waive if you donate an item to be auctioned off for PCSC fundraising. We are asking that vendors commit to a donation no later than August 31st so that we can begin promoting the auction. A commitment can be giving us the physical item, sending us a picture of the item or giving us a good description of your donation.

The Fish N Brew will run until 9 p.m. We realize this is a long time to be set up as a vendor and so can accommodate earlier take downs.

About PCSC
Our purpose is to restore salmon populations in our region, which includes several significant rivers— Sol Duc, Bogachiel, Hoh, Clearwater, and Quinault. These rivers are glacially fed and have short, but steep drops to the ocean, making it ideal salmon rearing habitat. PCSC’s work is diverse and responsive to the needs of our region and our community.
PCSC is currently focused on the rehabilitation of SSHEAR sites in our region. SSHEAR was a WDFW program began in the 1990’s that installed fish ladders in prime salmon spawning habitat sites. After 40 years, many of these sites have degraded, and are now fish barriers. We believe removing these structures and allowing nature to reclaim these sites is the most cost-effective method of salmon habitat restoration in our region.
In the past two years in 2024, we completed six projects in the Bogachiel watershed, removing old concrete structures and using natural materials to encourage the formation of pools.
Our federal and state grants are no longer certain funding sources. So, PCSC is shifting focus to private donations and fundraising, to continue to ensure our work and do amazing things for salmon habitat on the west side of the Olympic Peninsula.
We are hosting the Fish N Brew in hopes of creating an event for our community to enjoy and ensure financial stability for PCSC. PCSC is a 501(c)(3) registered nonprofit, and any donation you make will be tax deductible.
