Volunteers were ready for hungry community members as the 89th annual Harvest Dinner was just ready to get underway earlier last month. Pastor Warren Johnson reported that well over 300 meals were served.

Piecemakers Quilt Club sent 17 quilts and three afghans to Ashville, North Carolina for victims of the recent hurricane. Piecemakers Quilt Club is an educational group that meets the second Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the First Congregational Church on Spartan Avenue. New members are always welcome.

Over the past weekend, community members were welcomed to the St. Anne Parish Hall to view The International Eucharistic Miracles Exhibit. The stories collected by Carlo Acutis are a selection of the main Eucharistic Miracles, about 136, which occurred over the centuries in various countries and are recognized by the Church. Each Miracle appears on a series of panels creating a virtual visit to the places where the miracle happened.
