Interested Forks citizens will be able to participate in an AWP/CLT presentation at the Forks Branch of Peninsula College, 481 S. Forks Ave. The purpose of the presentation is to hear various local and state experts talk about the potential that AWP/CLT may have for future economic development and (re)growth on the North Olympic Peninsula.
Topics will include the infrastructure associated with manufacturing Cross Laminated Timber, the ecological opportunities that CLT products could create in addressing local forest health issues, and the uses associated with CLT.

Many communities are clamoring to be a part of the AWP/CLT market opportunities. This is an exciting first step at looking at the possibilities.
