Virtual Trivia Nights with NOLS

Join the North Olympic Library System (NOLS) for a fun night of trivia on Zoom! Play on your own or make a team using text, video chat, phone, or, perhaps even yelling out the window with your neighbor.

There are three more Trivia Night events coming up this winter:

• Thursday, December 30, 6:30 p.m.: Popular Music History.

Ring in the night before New Year’s Eve and test your pop music knowledge of the past 100 years!

• Friday, January 28, 6:30 p.m.: Geek Game On

Bring your game face to this trivia night with questions from Star Wars, Star Trek, and Stargate.

• Friday, February 25, 6:30 p.m.: Sweets & Baking

Whether you embraced 2020 quarantine baking, or stuck strictly to watching Bake-Off and Nailed It, show what you know about how to bind, fold, cream, and whisk in this trivia competition that’s sure to stimulate your sweet tooth.

Registration is required to receive Zoom link and info for team play. For more information about this program, visit www.nols.org, email Discover@nols.org, call 360-417-8500, or stop by your local NOLS branch.

Men’s Christian Breakfast

The Men’s Nondenominational Fellowship Breakfast at Forks Congregational Church, 280 South Spartan Ave., is being held this coming Saturday, Dec. 18 at 8 a.m. This month’s topic is “What does the Celebration of the Birth of Jesus mean as Christian men.” Pastor Johnson with assistance from others will be providing the breakfast of biscuits and sausage gravy, breakfast casserole, coffee/ juice. Breakfast is by donation. The Reading and Prayer for Breakfast starts at 8 o’clock sharp.

We have a great core group of men from different denominations that have caused our core group to stay steady in their devotion and our discussions about the scriptures to flourish. Check us out for a great breakfast and a time in the word of the Lord. We will be practicing our social distancing during this breakfast to keep everyone safe.

Hebrews 10: 24-25 And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Thanks for taking time out of your busy schedule to come and have a morning of fellowship, renewal, and prayer with men of the Christian faith.

For more information call Pastor Warren Johnson at 360-640-8239.
