ONRC Rosmond Evening Talks will resume on Wednesday, January 21, at 7 p.m. Wesley Romberg will give a talk titled “Olympic Peninsula Timberland Management: Campbell Global.”
The Talk will be an audience-driven conversation focused on timberland assets that Campbell Global manages on the North Olympic Peninsula. From who they are as a company, their history in the area, to what they believe.
Wes was born and raised on the Olympic Peninsula and represents the fourth generation of his family in the timber industry. He earned a degree in Forest Resource Management from the University of Idaho, with an educational background in Fisheries and Wildlife.
Wes currently serves as the Western District Manager for Campbell Global, overseeing forestland assets across Washington State. His career has included hands-on experience in family shake and shingle mills, logging operations, wildland firefighting with the Washington Department of Natural Resources, and work as a Society of American Foresters (SAF) Certified Forester.
He has volunteered with Clallam County Fire District #1 for over 20 years and remains active in his community as a WEYL coach, sixth-grade forestry field trip organizer, and Lions Club member. Outside of work, Wes enjoys spending time with family and outdoors hunting, fishing, camping, and clam-digging.
