Thank you
Monday, January 5th is a day that I hope my family will never have to repeat, or any family have to experience for that matter. Receiving a call that your home is on fire is the most indescribable feeling I have ever experienced.
So many emotions & thoughts that ran through my mind as I raced back to the house. From this obstacle, what I can say is that we were very fortunate for many reasons; 1st: the kids & I had just left the house, maybe a 30min time frame, 2nd: the quick 911 calls that were made along with a call to me, 3rd: the first responders/fire departments quick response, and their heroism in rescuing our animals that all made it out safely (our 3 dogs, cat & our 7 baby chicks we hatches via incubator) our family is forever grateful to you.
However, during this unimaginable devastation, we have been met with & blessed by the outpouring of love & support that we have received from our families near & far, our church family, friends, & the wonderful people of our towns, past & present & from those we may not know.
Your generosity has been so abundant and we are truly blessed by each and every one of you. I would love to start a list and thank each of you individually but there are just so many. There is no “Thank-you” big enough or loud enough to express the gratitude our family has for each of you. We are truly, truly thankful. There are still a lot of unknowns we will have to navigate through but we serve a big God and though I may not know what tomorrow holds, I can rest knowing I know the One who holds my tomorrows.
“The Lord bless you and protect you; The Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you; The Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26
Thank you to everyone who has reached out, helped out & provided meals for our family. We really appreciate it
Please continue to hold our families up in prayer as we pray for wisdom & guidance in our steps, rebuilding & moving forward.
With love,
Bob & Christa Baker & family
