Hoh Road Update

Last week, Interwest Construction Inc. (ICI) continued the excavation work at the Canyon Creek site, MP 10.5. ICI has completed nearly all of the excavation and soil removal from the large hillside on the northwest portion of the site and has begun final shaping and grading of the slope. ICI also placed and compacted backfill at the locations of the abutments for the new bridge.

This week, ICI will continue this excavation and slope shaping work at Canyon Creek. They will also begin the layout of the abutment locations in preparation for the bridge foundation pile installation in mid-May.
