Twilight Tours Return

After four years without a local “Twilight Tour” local businessman and retired educator; Dale Wilson has taken up the challenge of helping entertain the multitude of Twilight fans who flock to Forks, year after year.

Forks is the setting for Stephenie Meyer’s series of romantic sagas, enshrined in the Twilight quartet of feature-length stories about star-crossed lovers, divided by the eternal divide–mortality and immortality.

The back-story includes age-old battles between the Werewolves and the Vampires. Each with its own clan of unforgettable characters.

Wilson, as tour guide, attempts to provide Twilight fans with a three-dimensional experience of local scenes implanted in millions of minds, spawned from Meyer’s pen.

Wilson said, “We will visit all the ‘usual suspects’ including the hospital, city hall, police station, Forks High School, Miller Tree Inn, the police chief’s house, and of course, all the Twilight-inspired business in town.

“If the interest is there, we would love to offer a tour out to First Beach at La Push—at twilight” he continued, grinning at his un-intended pun.

Smores on First Beach anyone?

Custom tours can be arranged if someone has their own itinerary, or just needs to get a group to the airport.

Tours begin April 12 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.; boarding in front of Twilight Central on Spartan Avenue.

“We have a 12-seat tour bus and need at least 7 passengers per tour to make it pencil-out,” Wilson said. “Grab your six besties and arrange your own personal tour at your personal convenience,” he continued.

Approximately two-hour tours are $49, with discounts for seniors and Veterans.
