On Nov. 30, 2021, the Clallam County Auditor’s Office received the West End Vehicle Licensing Subagent resignation. The resignation was effective immediately.

There is a process for selecting a new licensing subagent for Clallam County’s West End area, outlined in section RCW 46.01.140. The timeline for that process is still to be determined. However, it will take at least a few months to select a new subagent, go through training, and for them to open to customers.

In the meantime, West End residents can visit the Clallam County Auditor’s Office or the Sequim Licensing Depot LLC for vehicle and vessel licensing transactions. Cheryl Anderson, who has operated the West End Vehicle licensing office for the past 12 years, made the closure announcement on Facebook, sharing, “West End Vehicle Licensing is closed permanently. Thank you everyone for all your support the past 12 years.”
