Forks Elks Lodge #2524

On Sunday May, 5 the Forks Elks Lodge furnished the Lodge food booth to the Sportsman Club Kids Fishing Day. Elks members, Edna Leppell, Chuck and Patsy Jennings and Jeanie Miller handed out hot cocoa, hot dogs and pastries to over 300 kids and their parents.

On Monday, May 6 the Lodge held its annual youth banquet to honor the youth of our community. The Lodge recognized the Forks High School, Clallam Bay High School, and Neah Bay High School “Students of the Month” and the “Students of The Year.”

They also announced the Most Valuable Student Scholarship winners and the Vocational Grant winners. Also recognized were the Hoop shoot and Soccer shoot winners. There were about 100 kids and parents in attendance.

This is the 44th year the Forks Elks have honored the youth of our community. Thanks to all of the volunteers who helped on the committees.
