New Year’s Day bathers jump in frigid lake

Brave New Year’s Day bathers take a morning plunge at the boat launch area of Clallam County’s Lake Pleasant County Park.

The annual fun event draws costumed swimmers who this year went in despite chilling water and air.

Among those taking the plunge were these Three Young Musketeers. Pictured preparing for a frigid dip in Lake Pleasant braved the temperatures as they prepared for the plunge. are (from left): Caitlynn Wells, Bailey Powers and Maya Trettevick.
