Aiden Cabe

I have nominated Aiden Cabe as a Student of Character for the Integrity category because he has demonstrated a profound and intentional conversion of character. He has achieved a 180-degree turnaround in his work ethic, attitude toward school, and emotional composure, proving that, for him, integrity is not just a static quality but a dynamic choice. Aiden has moved from being a kid who refuses to put in effort to a young man whose work is reliably submitted on time, regardless of difficulty. He has made fundamental changes to his behavior and interactions without sacrificing his social integrity. This willingness to engage in the hard, private work of self-correction—the ability to act rightly when it is difficult and unseen—is the highest measure of integrity, and he is a student that I and his other teachers can now depend on.

Kylee is a constant and unwavering model of disciplined excellence. She demonstrates integrity not through a single emphatic choice, but through the sustained rigor of her daily actions. As a teaching assistant, Kylee works hard every day to ensure materials are ready, artwork is hung, and all tasks are completed. When specific tasks are absent, she quickly finds work to do, pushing herself to be helpful. This refusal to settle for “good enough” is her hallmark. Whether in her TA role or in the art room producing top-notch work, she holds herself—and encourages her peers—to meet a high, unwavering standard. Kylee is dependable not just in her output, but in the integrity of her continuous, self-imposed commitment to excellence.
