61st QVSA sets new record $218,002!

Elliott Mann auctions off firewood, Lanie’s no-bakes, Ty’s “apple pie,” and more on Saturday afternoon at the 61st annual Quillayute Valley Scholarship auction at the FHS commons. Mann was just one of a number of community members who volunteered their time Saturday and Sunday auctioning off 900 plus items. Saturday saw a new one day record of $75,00 set, and a new all-time record, as of Monday morning, of $218,002 after adding in the cash donations that were received.

Donations of all kinds can be found at the QVSA. Many talented locals go all out and create special items just for this occasion. Darren Sackett created these chairs as well as a number of other items.
