Operation Christmas Child Forks Community Packing Party
Published 1:30 am Thursday, November 6, 2025
Families and individuals are invited to an early Christmas party not to receive gifts, but to give them away. Join us Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, from 1 – 4 p.m., at the Congregational Church, 280 S. Spartan Ave. in Forks.
We will fill special shoeboxes with toys, school supplies, art supplies, sports balls and more items that allow children in dire situations to play as children. You can bring what you would like to fill one (or more) of our colorful shoeboxes or come and pack a shoebox from our supply of goodies. We have a fun afternoon planned for our shoebox packers.
The Samaritan’s Purse project Operation Christmas Child collects shoeboxes—filled with fun toys, school supplies and personal care items—and delivers them to children in need around the world to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way.
Since 1993, Operation Christmas Child has collected and delivered more than 232 million gift-filled shoeboxes to children in more than 170 countries and territories. In 2025, Operation Christmas Child hopes to collect enough shoebox gifts to reach another 12.6 million children.
