Theft at Pacific Pizza includes credit card receipts

Forks Police are investigating a theft at the Pacific Pizza that occurred early Monday morning.

Chief Rick Bart said someone broke in through a window in the back of the pizza parlor at approximately 4:20 a.m. and stole several items from the business.

Bart described the theft as "pretty selective."

Among the items taken was a small safe containing an unspecified but "substantial amount of cash"

Bart warned that the safe also contained the checks and debit and credit card receipts of all sales made in the restaurant from Thursday, June 6, through Sunday.

The keys to a Chevy Malibu used by the company as a delivery vehicle were also taken, and were used to steal the vehicle.

Bart said customers of the restaurant from Thursday through Sunday who paid with a check, debit or credit card should watch for suspicious activity in their account and should alert their bank if they have concerns.
