Clallam County Poet Laureate Nellie Bridge invites community members of all ages and skill levels to celebrate short poems at the Winter Moon Poetry Workshop on Tuesday, Dec. 9. The free guided writing session runs from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Forks Branch Library, 171 S. Forks Ave.
Centered around the poem “Winter Moon” by Langston Hughes, the workshop aims to spark imagination and foster a welcoming space to share poems and connect with others. Attendees are encouraged to bring a favorite short poem or stanza, or the lyrics to one verse or chorus from a song.
