Trebert DAR Chapter as the top outstanding group in Washington

Since its founding in 2007, WAA has collaborated with hundreds of like-minded organizations, volunteers, and civic groups nationwide to remember and honor our nation’s veterans. Through its national 3-for-2 sponsorship group program, an additional wreath was placed for every two sponsored. In 2024, Michael Trebert DAR Chapter was able to honor 2146.50 service members laid to rest at the following EIGHT cemeteries: Forks: Forks Community Cemetery; Gardiner: Gardiner Community and Zaccardo Cemeteries; Port Angeles: Mount Angeles Memorial Park, Ocean View, Blue Mountain; and Sequim: Dungeness and Sequim View Cemeteries.

Thanks to local support, this group displayed pride in our veterans at a national level.
