FMS December Students of the Month

8th Grade: Hailey Rondeau

Hailey Rondeau was chosen as December Student of the Month for 8th grade. Hailey’s favorites include; mac and cheese, the color purple, CTE class, playing basketball and softball, and dogs. When Hailey grows up she wants to be a nurse practitioner. When asked why Hailey was chosen as student of the month, Hailey’s science teacher, Mrs. Cook said “Hailey is a very responsible student.

She is a leader when she works in a team, and she is a very good role model for on-task behavior! She always makes up work from absences and puts a lot of effort into her own learning. She is very organized and detail-oriented. Hailey is also very polite and respectful at all times. It has been a pleasure to have her in my science class this year. I can’t wait to see what she does next!” Mrs. Highfield, her PE teacher said “Hailey takes her academics seriously.

She follows classroom expectations and is kind to everyone.” Mr. Feasel, her CTE teacher added “Hailey is a burst of positivity in the classroom and she consistently strives to succeed in all of her endeavors. She is a model student and a dedicated athlete with natural leadership abilities. Her drive and her dedication is impressive and will continue to bring her academic and athletic success.” Hailey would like to thank her parents and her grandparents for supporting her. Congratulations, Hailey!

7th Grade: Ana Martin Lorenzo

Ana Martin Lorenzo was chosen as December Student of the Month for 7th grade. Ana’s favorites include; carne asada, the color aqua, social studies class, being on her phone, and penguins. When asked why Ana was chosen as student of the month, Mrs. Johanson, Ana’s ELA teacher said “Ana is always kind and respectful.

Her peers gravitate toward her and turn to her for help, which she always offers willingly.” Her PE teacher, Mrs. Highfield said “Ana is focused on her academics. She is kind and teachable.” Her math teacher, Dr. Whitehead said “Ana is a quiet leader. She is consistently following expectations, demonstrating procedures, and being her best self every day. She does her work thoughtfully and thoroughly and demonstrates higher level thinking.

She is a joy to have in class.” Mr. McKibben, her science teacher said “Ana is consistent and hardworking even when surrounded by chaos.” Lastly, her social studies teacher, Miss Gingrich added “Ana is a natural leader and produces excellent work in class. She is always kind and works hard to succeed.” Ana would like to thank her mom and dad for supporting her. Way to go, Ana!

Entre las cosas que más le gustan a Ana se encuentran: la carne asada, el color turquesa, la clase de estudios sociales, usar su teléfono y los pingüinos. Cuando se le preguntó por qué Ana fue elegida como alumna del mes, la Sra. Johanson, su profesora de Lengua y Literatura, dijo: “Ana siempre es amable y respetuosa. Su profesor de matemáticas, Dr. Whitehead, dijo: “Ana es una líder discreta. Cumple con las expectativas constantemente, demuestra los procedimientos correctamente y da lo mejor de sí misma cada día. Realiza su trabajo con esmero y minuciosidad, y demuestra un pensamiento de alto nivel. Es un placer tenerla en clase”. El Sr. McKibben, su profesor de ciencias, dijo: “Ana es constante y trabajadora, incluso en medio del caos”. Finalmente, su profesora de estudios sociales, la Srta. Gingrich, añadió: “Ana es una líder innata y realiza un trabajo excelente en clase. Siempre es amable y se esfuerza mucho por tener éxito”. 6th Grade: Kendra Camacho

Kendra Camacho was chosen as December Student of the Month for 6th grade. Kendra’s favorites include; tamales, the color pink, and lion cubs. She enjoys both her ELA and science classes and likes to ride her scooter. When Kendra grows up she wants to be a doctor. When asked why Kendra was chosen to be student of the month, Miss Hunley, Kendra’s math teacher said “Kendra is a hardworking and dedicated student who consistently goes out of her way to stay on top of her assignments. She is kind, respectful, and always willing to help others when she is able.

Her positive attitude and great sense of humor make her a pleasure to have in class. This well-earned honor roll recognition reflects her commitment and strong work ethic.” Her ELA teacher, Miss Klebe said “Kendra is a hardworking and dedicated student who consistently puts forth her best effort in everything she does. She approaches her learning with a positive attitude and is always willing to try, even when something feels challenging.

Kendra is also an incredibly kind and thoughtful friend. She goes out of her way to make others feel included, valued, and supported, helping create a welcoming and respectful classroom community. Her positivity, kindness, and strong work ethic truly make our classroom brighter each day. We are so proud to recognize Kendra as our Student of the Month!” Mrs. Echeita, her social studies teacher said “Kendra is one of the most responsible students I have ever had. She is always on topic and paying attention in class.

She makes sure to get work when she is absent and completes it. She also asks questions when she needs clarification. In addition to being responsible, Kendra is very respectful. She is kind to everyone and is always willing to help others. I know I can always count on her to get quality work done, and role model behavior in class. I appreciate her so much.” Her music teacher, Mrs. Sanger-Rasmussen said “Kendra is a kind person and a hard worker. It has been fun seeing her personality grow. She can be super funny which helps lighten the atmosphere of the classroom at times.” Kenda’s PE teacher, Mrs. Highfield added “Kendra puts in her full efforts to be successful. She has a great attitude.” Kendra would like to thank her parents, her siblings, and all of her teachers for supporting her. Congratulations, Kendra!

5th Grade: Amelia Fisher

Amelia Fisher was chosen as December Student of the Month for 5th grade. Amelia’s favorites include; hamburgers, the color black, history class, eating, and dogs. When Amelia grows up she wants to be a Hoh Tribal Member. When asked why Amelia was chosen for student of the month, Amelia’s band and music teacher, Mrs. Murillo said “Amelia is kind and courteous to those around her.

She works hard to learn new skills. She has a great smile!” Her social studies teacher, Mrs. Camacho Carver said “Amelia is a wonderful student of history! She is very patient, respectful, and responsible. Amelia can be depended on to be kind to everyone in the classroom. She takes pride in her assignments going above and beyond what is expected. She brings her unique cultural perspectives to the classroom and has shared valuable insight about her heritage as it pertains to social studies. She is a delight to have in class and is full of creative ideas. I really enjoy having Ameilia in class!” Mrs. Highfield, her PE teacher, said “Amelia is a kind student.

She puts in her best efforts and strives to be successful in all activities.” Lastly, Ms. Lewis, her ELA teacher added “Ameila is a joy to have in class. She is a hard worker and always puts her best effort into her work. She is well-liked by both the staff and her peers. Amelia, keep up the great work.” Amelia would like to thank her mom for supporting her and for teaching her how to cook! Way to go, Amelia!
