Forks and Clallam Bay libraries to host Caregiver Career Fairs with DSHS

The West End branches of the North Olympic Library System (NOLS) will be hosting Caregiver Career Fair events with the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) on Thursday, Oct. 23. The first event begins at noon at the Clallam Bay Branch Library, 16990 Hwy. 112, followed by a second fair at 3 p.m. at the Forks Branch Library, 171 S. Forks Ave. Each hour-long event is free and open to the public.

The Caregiver Career Fair begins with a 30-minute information session about the role of a caregiver, the training and testing process, and the places caregivers work. Following the presentation, attendees can meet with local employers who are hiring caregivers, ask questions and discuss employment opportunities.
