CONNECTOR

Mason Bedford

Mason has skills that he can’t see. He is a true connector! He has natural leadership abilities and includes others to make connections between various groups in the school.

Oscar Olivera

Oscar connects students of all backgrounds through his joy and his guitar. Oscar has brought together a crowd of students united by their love of music during lunch in my classroom.

Zoey Garcia

Zoey is the main connector. She has created an environment at the school that encourages all to participate in the joy of high school. She models friendliness and inclusivity in her daily interactions.

Devin is everyone’s friend. He connects everyone through his calmness and kindness.

Addy has become a connector. She can find her place easily with almost any social group. She is fun and outgoing and has made herself at home in Forks.

Addy has been working nonstop to bring our Freshmen “into the fold” during advisory. She brings so much positivity and support to the room; she just shines!

Cordel Horejsi

I am nominating Cordel Horejsi for the Connector title in the Student of Character program. No matter what is going on, he always has a group of kids around him who are engaged and enjoying themselves. He possesses the kind of personality that others are drawn to, naturally creating an inclusive and positive social environment. Furthermore, Cordel demonstrates a persistence of character that causes negativity to simply bounce off of him, allowing him to maintain a positive outlook that is contagious. He emits a subtle but mature inner confidence that is admirable and certainly noticed by his peers, making him a central and reliable figure in their social circle. He not only connects with others but also enables them to connect with one another.

Izalynn works well with so many of her peers. She has brought together more groups of diverse students than I ever would have been able to. Her positive attitude and ability to see the strengths of those around her has been amazing to observe.
